Horse Fence

Electrified coated wire is a very popular fence for horses. 3 or 4 strands creates a highly visible physical and psychological barrier. All of our coated wire products are manufactured with a UV resistant polyethylene coating to help prevent injuries.

Horserail is a coated wire fence that gives the appearance of a wood fence without the maintenance costs. Horserail is stronger and more durable than a board fence and is considered very safe for horses.

Hi-tensile wire is not recommended for horses as it is difficult to see and is very easy for a horse to get injured. Hi-tensile is widely used however for other livestock and is very effective when properly installed and electrified. The number of strands to use varies depending on the species of animals being contained and the stocking rate.
